cover story - september 2008
Since opening its doors in 2001, the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre has been the Valley’s Premier Dining and Theatrical Experience. Featuring live professional Broadway musicals and a delicious menu of classic American cuisine, the Broadway Palm has been named “Best Dinner and A Show” (New Times “Best of Phoenix”), “Best Place to Take a Visitor” (azcentral.com “Best – Reader’s Choice”) and Mesa Business of the Year. Conveniently located just minutes away from the Loop 202 Red Mountain and US 60 Superstition freeways in Mesa, the Broadway Palm is the perfect destination for a fantastic evening out no matter where you are in the Valley!
In addition to our fantastic musicals, the Broadway Palm also offers a fun-filled evening of comedy, cuisine and killers in the brand-new interactive dinner theatre whodunit: Murder on the 19th Hole, now playing in our elegant Marquee Room. Don’t forget Broadway Palm’s popular Children’s Theatre productions, featuring professional actors, full-scale sets and costumes and a special kid-friendly buffet. The classic story of one girl’s magical Christmas present comes to life in Nutcracker: A Musical for Children (November – December), then a frivolous young monarch learns a valuable lesson in The Emperor’s New Clothes (April – May) and finally follow the adventures of a boy and his animal friends in Disney’s The Jungle Book (June – July). At the Broadway Palm, the show is just part of the package! The exceptional buffet includes a full salad bar, five entrée items and a lavish dessert selection with a menu that changes with each new production. Adding to the ambiance is our gorgeous newly remodeled lobby, a full-service lobby bar, specialty gift shop and an art gallery featuring the works of local artists. The main 500 seat theatre and private banquet rooms are available for private functions. Visit the Broadway Palm at www.broadwaypalmwest.com or call the box office at 480-325-6700 for exact dates and times.
